"Let’s  keep people off the streets and provide them with a place they can call home"

How do we help our residents & clients ?

At Changing Lives Housing Trust, we want all of our clients to succeed in their lives what ever path they chose to take in life. That is why we have recently introduced our new 'Life Skills Training'.LST (Life Skills Training) is a well needed service that we have introduced for our clients, we saw that there was a real need  growth an development within our clients. So we looked upon this project as a way to equip our clients to go out into the real world and succeed in areas they had never succeeded before.
Each year CLHT provides supported housing for over 50 people in the South East of London. Our accommodation provides a safe, warm and welcoming place for people to live on a temporary basis where they can receive the support they need to get their life back on track, find and move into their own home.People living in our accommodation come to us with a range of different stories and backgrounds.  From rough sleepers to those escaping domestic violence, every one of our service users has a different reason for living with CLHT. Everybody who lives with us has a key worker and an individual care plan, which helps them to eventually move into their own home and achieve other goals, such as completing a training course or moving in to employment. If you would like to find out more about our accommodation, please contact us for information.

Anti-social behaviour

We take anti-social behaviour very seriously and will take the necessary steps to protect our residents. This can include involving other agencies such as Environmental Health, the Council's ASB unit, local Councillors, community groups and the police. Disputes with neighbours can range from minor disagreements through to serious harassment or even, in very extreme cases, violence. Try talking to your neighbour to see if you can resolve the situation. They may not even be aware that they are causing you a problem. Failing that, contact the office for advice. If you are threatened with violence, please contact the police immediately as this is a criminal matter.
